In the last years, the USB storing technology advanced pretty fast. At the CES in 2013, the Kingston Technology, Inc. ‘s HyperX Predator of 1 terabyte USB flash drive had its debut.

Even now, this huge USB stick is still not quite affordable. With a Lighting Deal from the popular shopping portal Amazon.com, you can obtain it for ‘only’ $899 USD, but with free shipping. But this price is in fact $150 USD cheaper than its normal price found on Amazon, eBay or other various websites. Consider that the HyperX Predator of 1 TB had its debut price of $2,310 USD and right now, Newegg is selling the USB flash drive for $1093.60 USD.

On the other hand, let’s take a brief look at its specifications. First of all, the memory capacity is huge, 1 TB. And with 240 MB/s read and 160 MB/s write speeds when connected to a USB 3.0 port, the users can access, edit and transfer very quickly their files or applications. As stated, it has USB 3.0 functionality, metal casing, which gives the USB stick shock resistance, custom key ring and HyperX Valet Keychain.

Also, Kingston released another HyperX Predator USB flash drive, but this is the ‘pedestrian’ version of the 1 TB one. Its memory capacity has ‘just’ 512 GB. On debut, this smaller version was $1,750 USD last year and, on Newegg, retails for $854.99 USD. During the Lighting Deal, the little brother of the 1 TB HyperX Predator, was even a bigger steal as was only $459.99 USD.

So if you want a small USB flash drive, with huge memory capacity and USB 3.0 capacity, the Kingston’s device may be what you’re looking for.
