Everything we’ve needed help with, USB Company have come up trumps!

Each dealing we have had with you has been excellent in terms of speed, value for
money and helpful service – thank you!

From the very first point of contact USB Company were very professional and efficient. You were the cheapest and quickest for delivery, and we are very pleased with the product we have received.

Imran was very helpful and quick in answering all my questions.

A friendly, swift and comprehensive service. Thanks very much.

Excellent service and product exceeded my expectations. First rate!

I have been dealing with Imran and Tracy, they have been very proffessional
and helpful during this process. Having a mock up of the USB was very useful. We will recommending USB COMPANY to other companies. Thank you very much for you time and effort.

The product I ordered is first class and I will definitely come back to USB for
other products.

Great stuff.

An extremely fast and efficient service with an excellent end product. Will be looking
to repeat business for the foreseeable future. Many thanks!

Thanks very much for your help. The product looks great and was just what we were looking for.

Received wrong order but rectified quite quickly

Our contacts Imran and Tracy were a great help in ordering process and
we will most likely be ordering some more USB’s in the new year.

We are very pleased with your patience regarding the situation with our colour and logo requirements. As UK and new European agents for an American company we needed to have our material “spot on”. Thank you for helping us to deliver.

Excellent very friendly and helpful staff. Thanks

Don’t really know about repeat order because of budget but if we have a requirement – yes

Great service …. did everything promised, easy and friendly to deal with.

Only unlikely to make a repeat order as it’s not something we use a great deal.
It was just a means of getting soft-copy handouts to students after some lessons.

I had a very urgent order and needed a split delivery. My inquiry was dealt with very quickly and my order arrived in time. It was very hassle free and we would definitely recommend your service.

The service at every point was friendly and quick and I was kept informed where the process was at every step of the way. The finished product was excellent and I felt the guidance I received when initially placing the order was fantastic.

USB Company is expanding and in the search for the new team member we had a a couple of options. Previously we had used gumtree for recruiting and we have been very impressed with the amount of applicants we had received. Now this time we decided to have a look at Monster which is a pure job listing site and even with the high price tag of £125 for 2 weeks listing we decided there must be a reason why they are so expensive. So we posted and paid by credit card and then waited and waited and waited. After 7 days nothing had happened, not a single email or phone call, we called the Monster and asked if our listing was up and they confirmed it was listed. So what does it mean, well for us it was clear its a waste of money. After 14 days we had 2 applicants from Monster adding up to £62.5 per applicant.

In comparison 2x£25 ads on Gumtree.com gave us over 70 applicants to choose from, admittedly the quality of the applicants varied a lot but still the difference in response was surprising.

So you are hereby warned don’t waste your hard earned money on the greedy monster go gumtree instead!

USB Company are proud to announce that we are the first major promotional USB supplier to offer custom branded USB sticks with hardware based encryption!

We’ve offered software based encryption for a few weeks now, and it has proved fairly popular. When data’s merely confidential and best kept private, rather than potentially damaging, software based protection is perfect. It takes quite a lot to force your way through the layers of security, and with little to gain it’s unlikely anyone will bother to do so.

However, we do understand that some of you carry data on USB Sticks that is absolutely critical. Sometimes the remotest possibility of data being retrieved from a lost or stolen device is so worrying that even the best software based methods aren’t good enough. Therefore, we’re proud to announce that we’ve recently entered a partnership with a major provider of hardware-based encryption for flash drives. As a result of this, we can now offer sticks with a dedicated processor installed that looks after the encrypting of data. This protects both against hacking attempts and human error, as any data written to the drive is automatically encrypted before it’s stored to the flash memory.

Hardware based encryption is considerably more expensive than standard software based encryption, due to the fact that each stick has a processor dedicated to encrypting data. However, we are offering very competitive prices, and are currently able to offer branded sticks for their generic, off the shelf recommended retail prices.

As you are probably aware, most goods bought in the UK come with a 12 month warranty as standard. Of course, this only covers manufacturer faults and not accidental damage. So, when buying a new TV, an extra cover plan may be advisable. After all, if the baby runs into it and knocks it over, that’s a lot of money potentially lost. Equally, a new Fridge, cooker or IPod may warrant the same protection. But a paperclip?

We’ve recently noticed that our last few orders from Viking have included a 2% “Extra Protection Plus” charge. Now this is a charge that isn’t removable during online purchasing, is hidden in the small print of the catalogue and is applied automatically to all purchases. So, what does it do exactly? It extends our warranty to cover accidental damage. So, if we drop our box of envelopes and they smash into pieces, or we accidently shatter our paperclips, we’re covered. If I’d known about this earlier, I would have saved all those bits of tape that stuck together while trying to tape boxes up. We could have got a couple of pennies back for them!

While we were annoyed to be caught up in the Vista Print scam, at least they are bona-fide conmen. We have to admit we thought Viking would be better than that though. Charging accidental damage insurance by default on all invoices, and making it un-removable other than by phoning up and wasting half an hour would be bad enough if we were buying high price electronics. But for a company selling us general office consumables such as paper, paperclips and tape it is nothing short of fraudulent in our eyes.

Its to be said that we are very happy with the service and products of Viking- Direct so far. What puzzles us is why big sucessful companies risk their reputation and potentially customers by doing such scams without the customers consent. We guess its somoething called GREED. (Not to talk about the 95% which probably dont notice it and keep paying it. Anyway now you have been warned!

We recently took delivery of some books from Amazon, with those came a couple of vouchers. One of them was from Vistaprint which offered “free” stamps. Their targeting was spot on as we just thought about ordering some stamps so we went ahead and ordered the “Free” one and another one from their range. Two weeks later the stamps arrived and it was all looking good.

But.. a month later an unidentified charge appeared on our bank statement, it was a payment of £9.95 with the reference clubprem.com. We had never had anything with them to do so we called the bank and they told us this was a charge from Vistaprint and of course the charge was irreversible. So we called them and right enough when we ordered the “Free stamps” we had to pay for postage with our credit card and apparently there was some very small print there stating that we agreed to subscribe to clubprem if we ordered these stamps. Certainly we did not see any of these small prints and we have got nice big computer screens..

It makes us wonder how big companies like Vistaprint are allowed “lure” customers into these traps, it also surprise us that Amazon being on the forefront of e-commerce engages into business activities with dubious companies such as Vistaprint.

We can imagine many people don’t even take notice of such a small charge, luckily we did and manage to cancel the subscription. It definitely teached us a lesson so people beware of these stunts from Vistaprint or others that are offering “good deals”

Here at USB Company we would never engage in such activity, we believe in honesty and straightforward communication. Imagine luring our customer into a subscription for promotional Usbs now that’s silly….

This week the USB Company sourcing team has been busy trawling the busiest gifts fairs in the world making sure we can offer the best quality usb promotional products at a competitive price.

The Global sources and the Canton fair is held every April in Hong Kong and China and is where International buyers meet with worldwide suppliers to make the best deals and see the latest product news.

This year we saw fewer of the smaller factories from Mainland China and we see a trend that there are fewer but bigger factories. There is still hundreds of suppliers and we believe this is a good thing as we can get more consistency. The small suppliers which often only was nothing more than a shed with an assembly line, often flooded the market with cheap sub quality products.

We had several good meetings with our suppliers and we are happy to see them improve on their quality control procedures and flash memory buying, meaning they can continue to offer us competitive prices and the best quality.

We will also be adding a few new promotional usb products in the coming months which we believe should further strengthen our product line and be of interest to our clients.

We also noticed a slight increase in the price for 1GB flash drives as the demand was rising during the Exhibitions but we believe the prices will stabilise shortly.

Ok that is all for now we are off for another supplier meeting and then we need a well deserved foot massage after all this walking:)
